AuraCat Terms of Service

These terms cover using the AuraCat app, your cat photos and generated Catsona art and songs, Cat Treats, and AuraCat Premium. By using AuraCat, you agree to them.

Effective date: July 6, 2026

The short version

  • You keep ownership of your cat photos; you own the Catsona covers, songs, and videos generated for you.
  • Cat Treats are a virtual currency — no cash value, not transferable, and forfeited if your account is deleted.
  • Failed generations automatically return your Cat Treats. You never lose Treats for a result we couldn't deliver.
  • AuraCat Premium (Monthly or Lifetime) unlocks Play, CatDJ, and the Songs library — it does not include Cat Treats.
  • Purchases and refunds go through Apple or Google. AuraCat never sees your card details.
  • Don't upload photos of people, copyrighted material, or use AuraCat to generate unsafe content.

1. Who we are, and who can use AuraCat

AuraCat is operated by AuraMind Studio ("AuraCat", "we", "us"), identified by the app package name com.auramind.auracat. By creating an account, purchasing Cat Treats or Premium, or otherwise using AuraCat, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

AuraCat accounts are meant for adults able to enter a binding agreement. You're responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for activity under your account.

2. The AuraCat service

AuraCat turns a cat photo, personality tags, and pack choices into a Catsona cover, theme song, caption, and share video, saved to your library. AuraCat also includes Prey Game, CatDJ remix, and the AuraCat Songs streaming library. AuraCat is an entertainment and keepsake product — it is not medical, behavioural, or veterinary advice for your cat, and AI outputs vary between generations.

3. Your content and your photos

You keep ownership of the cat photos and profile details you upload. You grant AuraCat a license to store and process them solely to generate and show you back the Catsona content you asked for. You confirm you own the photo (or have the owner's permission) and that it doesn't need to, and shouldn't, contain identifiable people. You can delete a photo, a result, or a whole cat profile at any time in the app.

4. Your generated Catsona covers and songs

You own the specific cover, song, caption, and video generated for you, and can use, display, print, and share it personally. Because generations are produced by AI, we don't guarantee a result is entirely unique to you or free of every possible third-party right worldwide — we design prompts and safety checks to avoid known infringement patterns, but AI output carries some inherent residual risk. If a result seems wrong or unsafe, use in-app remix/re-roll or contact support@auracat.app.

5. Acceptable use

  • Don't upload photos of people, other users' cats without permission, or images you don't have the right to use.
  • Don't try to generate sexual, violent, hateful content, real-person or celebrity likenesses, imitations of a living artist's style or copyrighted melody/lyrics, or medical/wellness claims.
  • Don't infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
  • Don't abuse Cat Treats — exploiting bugs, chargeback fraud, or farming the free re-roll across accounts.
  • Don't scrape, automate, or interfere with AuraCat's backend outside the app's own UI.

Violating this section can lead to content removal, suspension, or account termination (§9).

6. Cat Treats (virtual currency)

Cat Treats pay for Catsona covers, theme songs, packs, and remixes beyond your one free single-image re-roll. Cat Treats are not money — they have no cash value, cannot be sold, redeemed, or transferred between accounts, and don't expire while your account is active.

  • A generation reserves Cat Treats up front and only consumes them if it completes. A failed generation automatically returns the reserved Treats to your balance — you never need to ask.
  • If a purchase behind already-spent Cat Treats is refunded or charged back, your ledger may show a debt that a future purchase or renewal absorbs.
  • Cat Treats are forfeited without compensation if your account is closed, terminated, or deleted.
  • Prices and per-feature Treat costs are shown in the app and may change; changes don't retroactively affect Treats you already hold.

7. AuraCat Premium (Monthly and Lifetime)

Premium unlocks full Prey Game + CatDJ Studio, the full AuraCat Songs library, and multiple cat profiles. Premium does not include Cat Treats — Catsona covers, songs, packs, and remixes always use Cat Treats regardless of Premium status.

  • Monthly auto-renews at the price shown at purchase until you cancel. Cancel any time in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions (Apple) or Play Store → Subscriptions (Google), at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge.
  • Lifetime is a one-time purchase — it doesn't renew or charge again, and includes future updates to the features it unlocked.
  • If we change subscription pricing, we'll give the notice Apple/Google require before it applies to you.
  • All subscription management and store-level refund requests happen through the App Store or Google Play — AuraCat can't cancel or refund a store purchase directly.

8. Payments and refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google — AuraCat never sees your card or bank details. Refunds go through Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play's refund flow. If a generation failed without your Cat Treats returning automatically, contact support@auracat.app first — we'll fix your ledger directly where our system is at fault.

9. Suspension, termination, and deletion

You can delete your account any time from Account & Subscription in the app, from auracat.app/delete-account, or by emailing privacy@auracat.app. Deletion disables your account immediately and tombstones it within 24 hours; personal data is fully purged within 30 days except limited audit records described in our Privacy Policy. Deleting your account forfeits any Cat Treats balance and ends Premium access on that account — it does not cancel a store subscription, which you must cancel separately if you don't want it to keep renewing.

We may suspend or terminate access for violating §5, to prevent fraud, or as required by law.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

AuraCat is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid AuraCat in the past 12 months or USD $20. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

11. Governing law and disputes

We'll try to resolve any disagreement informally first — reach us at support@auracat.app (billing/product) or legal@auracat.app (legal notices). Nothing here waives a consumer-protection right you have under the mandatory law of your own country of residence.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as AuraCat changes. We'll update the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you in-app before they take effect. Continuing to use AuraCat afterward means you accept the update; if you don't, you can delete your account (§9).
