1. Who we are, and who can use AuraCat
AuraCat is operated by AuraMind Studio, the trading name of an independent app
developer based in Vietnam ("AuraCat", "we", "us"), identified by the app
package name com.auramind.auracat. By creating an account, purchasing Cat Treats or
Premium, or otherwise using AuraCat, you agree to these Terms and to our
Privacy Policy.
AuraCat is intended for users aged 18 or over who can enter a binding agreement. You're
responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for activity under your
account.
AuraCat's current intended distribution excludes the European Union, Iceland,
Liechtenstein, Norway and the United Kingdom. AuraCat is not intended for new use
in these markets at this time. Privacy, deletion and billing requests relating
to previous use remain available through our contact addresses. Nothing in these
Terms removes rights required by applicable law.
2. The AuraCat service
Choose a Catsona Cover or a Theme Song as a separate creation. A Cover turns your
cat photo and chosen design into artwork. A Theme Song creates music and lyrics
inspired by your cat. Use Add Theme Song on an existing Cover to create a song
linked to that artwork and a share video; the Cover and Song are purchased separately.
A standalone song uses a simple AuraCat cover and does not include that share video.
AuraCat also includes Play sessions, CatDJ remix, and the AuraCat Songs library. AuraCat is an
entertainment and keepsake product — it is not medical, behavioural, or veterinary
advice for your cat, and AI outputs vary between generations.
3. Your content and your photos
You keep ownership of the cat photos and profile details you upload. You grant AuraCat a
license to store and process them to provide the profiles, creations, library,
sharing and support you request, and to keep the service secure. You confirm you own the photo (or have the owner's permission)
and that it doesn't need to, and shouldn't, contain identifiable people. You can delete a
cat profile in the app. Its source photo is removed and its profile slot is freed;
previously generated keepsakes remain in your Memories library. To request removal
of particular artwork, songs or videos without closing your account, contact
privacy@auracat.app.
4. Your generated Catsona covers and songs
As between you and AuraCat, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, you own
the specific cover, song, caption and video generated for you. You may use, display,
print and share these outputs for personal, non-commercial purposes. AI outputs may
be similar to other outputs and may not qualify for copyright protection everywhere.
We do not guarantee that a result is entirely unique or free of third-party rights — we design prompts and safety checks to avoid known infringement
patterns, but AI output carries some inherent residual risk. If a result seems wrong or
unsafe, use in-app remix/re-roll or contact support@auracat.app.
These output rights do not transfer ownership of the AuraCat Songs catalog or the
underlying CatDJ beats and sound assets. Use those through the listening, play and
sharing features offered in the app; do not extract or resell the underlying catalog.
5. Acceptable use
- Don't upload photos of people, other users' cats without permission, or images you don't have the right to use.
- Don't try to generate sexual, violent, hateful content, real-person or celebrity likenesses, imitations of a living artist's style or copyrighted melody/lyrics, or medical/wellness claims.
- Don't infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Don't abuse Cat Treats — exploiting bugs, chargeback fraud, or farming the free re-roll across accounts.
- Don't scrape, automate, or interfere with AuraCat's backend outside the app's own UI.
Violating this section can lead to content removal, suspension, or account termination (§9).
6. Cat Treats (virtual currency)
Cat Treats pay for Catsona Covers (60 Treats), Theme Songs (60 Treats), and paid
re-rolls. A standard 120-Treat bundle covers one Cover and one Song, bought separately.
Each successfully generated Cover or Song includes one free re-roll for that image
or song, subject to an active qualifying purchase. Included re-rolls have no expiry;
a failed included re-roll restores that part's free slot. Later image re-rolls cost
30 Treats and song re-rolls cost 45 Treats. The app shows eligibility, limits and cost
before you confirm. Cat Treats are not money — they have no cash value, cannot be sold,
redeemed, or transferred between accounts, and don't expire while your account is active.
- A generation reserves Cat Treats up front and only consumes them if it completes. A failed generation automatically returns the reserved Treats to your balance — you never need to ask.
- If a purchase is refunded or charged back, its unspent Cat Treats are removed, and any it paid for that you already used become a debt. The debt is repaid automatically from Cat Treats you hold or buy later, before they can be spent.
- Closing or deleting your account removes access to its remaining Cat Treats, subject to refund rights required by applicable law.
- Prices and per-feature Treat costs are shown in the app and may change; changes don't retroactively affect Treats you already hold.
7. AuraCat Premium (Monthly and Lifetime)
Selected Play, CatDJ and Songs content is available without Premium. Premium opens
additional prey, CatDJ and Songs content and higher cat-profile limits: Monthly supports
up to 2 profiles and Lifetime up to 6, compared with 1 without Premium.
Premium does not include Cat Treats. Covers, Songs and paid re-rolls
use Treats separately; eligible included re-rolls remain free. Exporting purchased
creations does not require Premium.
- Monthly auto-renews at the price shown at purchase until you cancel. Manage or cancel your plan in the store where you subscribed. Follow Apple's cancellation instructions or Google Play's cancellation instructions before the next renewal. Canceling generally stops future renewal and does not automatically refund a past charge.
- Lifetime is a one-time purchase — it doesn't renew or charge again, and includes future updates to the features it unlocked.
- If we change subscription pricing, we'll give the notice Apple/Google require before it applies to you.
- Manage subscriptions and request refunds through the store where you purchased. Contact support for billing help. Eligibility follows store policies and applicable consumer law.
8. Payments and refunds
Purchases are processed by Apple or Google — AuraCat never sees your card or bank
details. Refunds go through Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com)
or Google Play's refund flow. If a generation failed without your Cat Treats returning
automatically, contact support@auracat.app first — we will investigate and correct missing Treats returns.
Where a store requests it and applicable consent requirements are met, AuraCat and
RevenueCat may share available purchase and consumption information to help the store
review a refund request. This does not include your cat photos or generated creations.
Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory refund or consumer-protection rights.
9. Suspension, termination, and deletion
You can delete your account any time from Account & Subscription in the app, from
auracat.app/delete-account,
or by emailing privacy@auracat.app.
Once the server accepts an in-app deletion, account access is immediately disabled and associated
data is removed from normal app access. Source photos and generated media are queued
for storage deletion after a 24-hour grace period. For request handling,
retained records and identity verification, see our
Privacy Policy. Deleting
your account removes access to its remaining Treats and Premium entitlement —
it does not cancel a store subscription, which you must cancel separately if you don't
want it to keep renewing.
We may suspend or terminate access for violating §5, to prevent fraud, or as required by
law.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
AuraCat is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of
merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we're not
liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any
claim is limited to the greater of what you paid AuraCat in the past 12 months or
USD $20. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so parts of this section may not
apply to you, and nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
11. Governing law and disputes
We'll try to resolve any disagreement informally first — reach us at
support@auracat.app
(billing/product) or legal@auracat.app
(legal notices). These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, the home
jurisdiction of the independent developer operating AuraCat, and disputes that
can't be resolved informally are subject to the competent courts of Vietnam.
Nothing here waives a consumer-protection right you have under the mandatory law
of your own country of residence, or limits your right to bring a claim in your
local courts where applicable law gives you that right. There is no arbitration
clause and no class-action waiver in these Terms.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as AuraCat changes. We'll update the effective date above and
provide notice of material changes when required by applicable law, through the app or other appropriate means. Continuing to use
AuraCat afterward means you accept the update; if you don't, you can delete your account
(§9).
