What is a Catsona?

A Catsona is your cat as a character: a personalized portrait inspired by their photo and personality. You can add a Theme Song to a finished Catsona Cover as a separate creation, giving their little world a soundtrack and a share-ready video.

What kind of photo should I use?

Choose a clear, well-lit photo of one cat, with their face, ears, and markings visible. Avoid heavy filters and anything covering their face. A better reference helps the artwork feel more like them; results can vary.

Do I need a subscription to create?

No. A Catsona Cover costs 60 Treats and a Theme Song costs 60 Treats. Buy Cat Treats and choose either creation, or make a Cover and add a Song later. Premium is optional and separate: it unlocks the full Play, CatDJ, and Songs libraries and more cat profiles. It does not include Treats. Selected entertainment content is available for free.

Can I make a Theme Song without creating artwork first?

Yes. Make a Theme Song from your cat’s profile photo or a photo chosen just for that creation; it comes with a simple cover. To use Catsona artwork and receive a share-ready video, select an existing Catsona Cover when making the Song, or choose Add Theme Song from that Cover’s result.

Can I try another version?

Each successfully generated Cover or Theme Song includes one free re-roll for that part, with no expiry. Using it requires an active, unrefunded purchase on your account. Later re-rolls cost 30 Treats for an image or 45 Treats for a song. A failed free re-roll restores that part’s free attempt. The app shows eligibility, limits, and the Treat cost before you confirm.

What if my generation fails?

Provider or system failures do not consume Cat Treats. Treats reserved for that generation are returned to your balance automatically. Contact support if you need help with a failed creation or your balance.

Can I download and share what I make?

Yes. Keep your creations in your library, download your artwork, and share available outputs. Adding a Theme Song to a Catsona Cover also creates a video for sharing. Purchased creations do not require Premium to export. The full use license is in our Terms of Service.

Which designs and styles can I choose?

For Catsona Covers, the current collection has 42 designs in 3 art styles: AuraCat Signature, Soft Watercolor Storybook, Classic Painterly Portrait. Choose from Keepsake, Square, Wide, Badge formats. These artwork choices apply to Covers; Theme Songs have their own music settings. The app shows the current collection before you create.
